Brad Pitt Makes First Red Carpet Appearance After Angelina Jolie Split, Thanks Fans for 'Support' at 'Allied' Event.
Working the room. Brad Pitt was all smiles as he signed autographs and posed for pictures with dozens of admirers at a fan event for his new film, Allied, in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 9.

In a Facebook Live feed from the event for the World War II movie, which also stars Marion Cotillard, the 52-year-old actor could be seen grinning and chatting with fans as he posed for selfies and signed movie posters.

Pitt, whose wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, wore a black suit and white shirt as he made his way to the stage for a brief interview about the period drama.
Asked if his hand was hurting after signing all those autographs, the Ocean's Eleven star said, "No, it's really sweet. Everyone's been really kind out here. It's really nice to have the support. It's great."
As Us Weekly reported earlier on Wednesday, Pitt has been cleared by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services in a child abuse investigation that was launched in September amid claims that the Moneyball star had abused his son Maddox, 15, during an altercation aboard a private plane.
DCFS investigated the alleged incident and interviewed Pitt, Jolie and their six children.
The news comes after Us confirmed that Pitt plans on fighting for joint legal custody of the couple's kids after Jolie's rep told Us on Monday, November 7, that the exes had reached a custody agreement.

While the DCFS has cleared the Fury star, an FBI investigation into the incident is ongoing. Jolie was interviewed by agents for four hours at her L.A. home on October 18 and investigators are gathering information and have interviewed other witnesses. The case will be presented to a prosecutor, who will then decide whether to bring charges against Pitt in what an insider told Us is a process that could take months.
